Join, Renew or make a donation to AW this Summer, and you could win big!


This summer, everyone who joins AW or makes a $10 or more donation between May 1 - October 1 will be entered into a nation-wide raffle to win some great prizes. Monthly drawings will be held for prizes from Immersion Research, Kayak Session, Keen, LVM, Smith Optics and Yakima. On October 15th we will be announcing the winners of not one but two grand prizes (one winner per trip): A paddling trip to Mexico with River Gypsies and a paddling trip to Ecuador with Small World Adventures!

How the contest works:

  • Only open to members of American Whitewater
  • Joining or renewing your membership with AW gives you one chance to win
  • Every $10 donation (by a current member) equals one chance to win (i.e. $100 = 10 chances)

Monthly Prizes

Each month we'll draw six names at random and award the following prizes:

IR shorts of choice (Mens or Womens plus choice of size)
1 year Kayak Session magazine subscription
Keen shoes of choice
1 year LVM DVD subscription
1 pair of Smith Optics "Method" glasses

Multi-sport base system specifically for your vehicle (or $300 Yakima credit)

River Gypsies

Winners

Fine Print

The two grand prize trips are restricted to individuals 18 years of age and older. Once an individual wins any one prize, they are no longer eligible to win any other prizes. Winners will be notified via the email address or phone number they have provided American Whitewater with when they joined, renewed or donated. All winners names and locations will be announced via front page posts on the American Whitewater website at americanwhitewater.org. Grand prizes are only available for the dates outlined, cannot be transferred to other dates, exchanged for their monetary value and are for a singler person only unless otherwise indicated by the outfitter. Winners of grand prize trips are responsible for all of the travel costs to their respective trip location. Donations made by Foundations or via grants are not eligible. No purchase necessary to win.
