URGENT: "MAP IT" is broken on "Rapids" tab.

Trying to add to 'Rapids' (though probably also a problem with adding/changing put-in/take-out) . . . The 'map it' application seems to be broken.
1) It displays a 'random' pattern of map pieces, all separated by blank squares, making it impossible to tell what one should do. (It looks like they are all the right pieces, just not 'put together'.)
2) The controls are all funky looking and don't seem to work. (The '+'/'-' and 'scale' bar are all hacked-up looking.)
3) By opening the 'Map It', the pop-up window becomes 'oversize' (filling more than the height of my monitor/screen), and has no way to scoll it up or down to see the whole page (especially, to be able to click the controls at the bottom to 'commit' the changes1)

I am getting erratic problems with the rapids editor. I just added coordinates to a rapid with no problem. The rapid location is now displayed correctly on the stream map. However, it was confusing to enter a description. There was no description editor showing. There was a little empty box below the rapid title. I typed in a description (probably erasing my previous work), but at first it did not seem to stick.

After saving the rapid, I went back, opened the map it window again and saw pretty much what you describe in point #3. A description from a different rapid showed in the normal description editor window. The next time I looked at it the map it editor was working fine again, though I still saw no rapid description. When I looked at the reach later, the new rapid description had shown up.

Yeah. I am seeing erratic problems with the description. I want to make this maybe a regular text edit. I have applied my fourth fix to the RTE. I know you want the option to just do text area edit. I intend to allow that option and have it logged in the bug tracker.

The description editor is working fine for me now. I am not having any problems with it.

The map it feature is working fine for the first rapid I edit in a reach. It will not display a map if I try to edit a second rapid.

There is a work around. After I edit one rapid, if I click on the "Make Changes Public" button, the map it feature will work for the next rapid that I edit.

Linking a photo to a rapid is easier now that only photos associated with the reach are displayed in the drop down menu. However, I would like to be able to override this by putting in a photo ID#, on occasion. Some reaches overlap and some photos are appropriate for multiple reaches. I wanted to link a photo to a rapid in one reach, though the photo had been associated with an overlapping reach.

For at least a week or so here in August, the Map-It tool is not updating the lat/long coordinates when the marker is moved. Until the problem is fixed, I am using Google Earth to find the correct coordinates, then I enter those number manually. Once you have entered the coordinates manually you must update the rapid before Map-It shows the correct location.

I have a fix. There was a version up on PHP upstream on our update servers and I needed to use most of the weekend to head off problems with it, as well as provide a couple tweaks including this one. I expect a release early this week.
