A small laundry list...

Some more problems I've noted (or in some cases just questions):

- The Quebec river list summary comes up as "PQ State Rivers". It would probably be nicer to say "Province". But also, while "PQ" is technically a correct for Quebec, "QC" is the actual postal designation (and I think we're using postal codes for US states).

- The "River Info/Stream Team/contactDirectory_ssk" page doesn't list all the streamkeepers and states they are authorized in. And not in the correct order either. For me, it only shows New Hampshire on page 1, and Vermont on page 2. Maine, Massachusetts, Texas and Quebec are missing. Also Vermont shows up with the other Texas Streamkeepers.

- The righthand sidebar doesn't always appear. Eg, for the Deerfield/Monroe Bridge (MA) listing I see "Restored Flows", "Events", and "Associated Projects" as small boxes on the right. On other rivers these sidebar boxes do not appear.

- Photos displayed on the rapids tab vary in width from 320 pixels, 400 pixels, 512 scaled to 500, and 640 pixels scaled to 500. Is 500 pixels the standard width for pictures now? When combined with the sidebar it makes the window too wide to read all the text. What is the expected behavior for resizing photos?

- I see a bunch of gages in the Quebec listing, only one of them active. But they don't have any data and I don't recognize them. What is going on with these?

- Two are the Quebec gages are actually US. They are "Pemigewasset at Woodstock, NH" and "NEPP site at Brattleboro, VT".

One other issue, reach and rapid names on the new site garbled special characters in the names:

ie, they now read:

Les Sept Chutes (Sœurs) – (Seven Sisters)
Le Haut de la Vallée
L'Apéritif (Appetizer)
Défilé des marmites (Cauldron Gorge)

Do I have to fix them all by hand? Or is this a bug that can be easily fixed.

I think I can manually move them over. They should have always been in UTF-8, not sure why now they are an issue. I logged your other issues.

Skip, as far as the miscatagorized gauges, they were pulled in by a USGS import, and were geocoded on the border and therefore fell into canada. If they don't belong there SKs now have the ability to go to the gauge detail and change the state the gauge is in by using the 'edit gauge' link at the top of the page. If they aren't getting updated it is because they are turned off. If they are useful to you set the update frequency to a non-zero number.
