They're supposed to cut back on the wkend ... but we'll see. You know, those 5 fisherman that may show up are always more important than the 100 boaters. Guess we'll have to keep the NOC store number on speed dial ... I think they'll know what's actually there. I'm fighting yet another cold ... that's 4 in 5 wks ... so I'm not up for Class V ... particularly continuous Class V and I'm thinking as the water goes up the Cascades would take on a continuous V nature ... they say those holes get beefy as the water goes up. I'm long overdue for a beatdown. The good news, the extra water may open up Junkyard (?) that rapid we portaged in the spring for it's extreme pinning hazard. 200-300 is supposed to be optimal, I'm not up for much more than that, but will take a look and make a decision. If it's too high, I'm up for second lap on the lower Cheoah and the Tallulah Sun.
