Gauley Releases

I'm stuck here in Cleveland and the Gauleys been running all week! Does anyone know if they are having any releases this weekend? Can some please explain the protocall for releases? I know they have been getting a lot of good rain lately down there but what is the criteria for releasing? Can't they just keep more water in the lake and add more weekends in the fall? Is the dam at max capacity so they have to release?
