Maybe... but... keep in mind that rec boats & gear can be and usually is much cheaper than ww boats and the gear.
$600-700 boats.
$30-50 nylon spray skirts.
$100 paddles.
$25 pfd's.
and if they got that stuff on sale or it was a gift or hand me downs...???
Add in a possible bad experience or maybe a need for quick $$$ for some stuff that's been sitting around unused...
$300 sounds cheap and may be a great buy for somebody, but that doesn't mean it's stolen.
$600-700 boats.

Dale, you're probably right. I shouldn't judge so quickly. I emailed him for more info. It's probably a college kid looking for some cash.

Actually, I have to side with Mello. Although this may be a perfectly legitimate offering, it has some suspicious elements that bear a close examination. Sometimes a good deal just comes along, and sometimes you're benefitting from someone else's misfortune.
