Initial Report: PRICE, Utah (AP) -- A 29-year-old woman died after a raft flipped, sending her and two other people into the Green River. The Pleasant Grove resident was wearing a life jacket during the ride but it wasn't on her when her body was recovered, said Capt. Guy Adams of the Carbon County sheriff's office. "It seems an undertow current kept her under for some time," he said. The woman, whose name was not released, was with 14 other people floating through Desolation Canyon when her raft capsized about 3 p.m. Thursday, Adams said. A group of boaters arrived at the scene and used a satellite phone to call for help. A Utah Highway Patrol helicopter arrived by 5 p.m. The woman's body was taken to the medical examiner's office. Adams said deaths are rare but not uncommon on that popular stretch of water. "I just think it's an accident," he said. Some people on the trip accompanied the woman's body while others floated down the river to where the boats could take them out. Bradley Gibbs
