| Initial Report: | On July 28th Bobby Cheung,13, drowned on Washington’s Class II Nooksack River. He was part of a Chinese youth group from the Seattle area. The Associated Press reported that he fell out of the raft when it hit a rock and washed under the boat. This suggests to me that the raft may have been pinned. The guide’s efforts at CPR failed.
