| Summary: | 20-year-old Ricky Lim, a foreign-exchange student from Indonesia who was studying at Diablo Valley College, was with a group of six hikers who attempted to cross the American River. Lim reported being tired and cold in the 40-degree snowmelt water, and then quickly slipped and was swept away. Neither a helicopter nor rescue divers could find his body that evening or the next day. |
