Summary: On August 13, 2004, Kevin Wade, 42, was canoeing with a friend on the Allegheny River, near the Dotty's Eddy area in Scrubgrass, PA. Wade had just removed his PFD when the canoe encountered rapids. Wade's friend made it to shore; Wade was identified by the county coroner the following day.
