Summary: Ken Robinson, a 51-year-old retired firefighter who'd found a second career as a river guide, was leading a commercial drift-boat trip down the Mule Creek Canyon section of the Rogue River in Oregon on September 30, 2004. His boat capsized and lodged between the narrow canyon walls in the "Coffee Pot" section. His two passengers were wearing PFDs and were rescued. Mr. Robinson, who was not wearing floatation, could not be found. His body was recovered the following Wednesday.
