| Summary: | The usually placid Cannon River in Minnesota was the site of a sad fatality on October 9, 2004. Two-year-old Jassikay Cohen-Bruggerman's parents had taken her on a canoe trip when the boat swept into a submerged log. The canoe flipped and she was trapped underneath it. Her parents were able to free her in the eight-foot-deep water, but she could not be revived. |
