The Sang Run Access Area to Maryland's Class IV-V Upper Youghiogheny River is owned by the State of Mayland and maintained by the staff and volunteers of American Whitewater. Many canoe, kayak, and raft paddlers made voluntary contributions here throughout the past year. Because of their strong support, American Whitewater reached its funding goals early. For this reason we are now declaring a seven-month FEE HOLIDAY starting on September 27th, 2002 (the Friday before the Falls Race) and running until May 1, 2003. Thank you all for your help, and please paddle safely!
