Each summer, American Whitewater takes a look back at the previous year and distills the
organization's projects, supporters and financial information - plus much more - into one
document, our Annual Report. The 2011 American
Whitewater Annual Report is now available for your review.
A couple high points from the report:
1) In 2011, American Whitewater focused on adding capacity to our highly effective river
stewardship program by hiring additional staff to support critical projects in Colorado and
California.
2) American Whitewater is excited to announce a new river stewardship position in the Northeast,
which is based on the success of our regional model, where staff resides and works in communities
with active stewardship projects.
3) A very positive trend from 2011 was membership growth; our membership revenues grew by over
13% in one year.

I would personally like to thank all those included in the Annual Reports' Honor Roll. These
individuals and partners provided a broad base of financial assistance in support of river
stewardship. American Whitewater stewardship projects are making a real difference to rivers and
local communities, while providing flows for healthy rivers and recreation.
