In June 2015, American Whitewater members will have an opportunity to join American Whitewater
staff and board members for an exclusive trip on Oregon’s Rogue River.
We invite you to come learn more about what we're up to while having a great time enjoying
one of our nation’s first Wild and Scenic Rivers. The trip will give AW an opportunity to
share what we are working on and, more importantly, to hear your thoughts about river issues and
learn from you how we can advance the work of AW. There are countless meetings and phone
conferences throughout the year to get our critical work done so, rather than holding yet another
briefing, we wanted to organize a gathering on the rivers we love with people who feel the same
way.
The trip, which will take place June 16-19, will be fully outfitted by Northwest Rafting Company
with professional guides, exceptional food, transportation to and from Galice, and all equipment.
You will have the option of bringing your own boat, renting a boat, or joining as a passenger on
one of the rafts. The price for the trip will be $995 with a portion of the trip proceeds going
to American Whitewater to support our work. Interested in joining us? Make your reservation
directly through Northwest Rafting Company today!
The Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue River in Oregon, which is one of the eight original Wild
and Scenic Rivers designated by Congress in 1968. The Rogue River is a great place to link
up with old friends, meet some new ones, and learn a little more about the great work being done
by American Whitewater.
NW Rafting has offered us the launch date of Tuesday June 16, 2015, for a four-day trip on the
Wild and Scenic Rogue River. The trip cost is $995. Kayak rental will be an additional $100.
You can sign up online with Northwest Rafting
Company on a first-come, first-served basis. Select the American Whitewater trip with a
launch date of June 16 when booking. Last year we filled the trip and we expect that to happen
again this year.
