Over the next several months, American Whitewater will continue to work to protect and restore the rivers that you love across the country, and ensure that everyone can enjoy them safely.

As you'll see in our 2015 Winter Appeal, we've got our work cut out for us, from standing up for the right to float in Colorado and Virginia to securing protection for freely-flowing rivers across the country and working to restore flows to rivers impacted by hydropower. We can't do this work without your support, and just twice each year we reach out to you to ask that you become a member or renew your membership with American Whitewater, or to consider making a tax-deductible donation.

We hope that what we're working on supports the special places that bring you joy, adventure, inspiration and community. As a whitewater lover and fierce defender of rivers, your support is more important than ever to help us see these projects through.

Rest assured, your donations will support river stewardship projects across the country into 2016. For the 6th year in a row, American Whitewater was awarded the highest rating from Charity Navitator! Only 3% of charities have received this designation at least 6 years in a row.
