The Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association is a non-profit conservation organization founded in 1966 dedicated to the preservation and quality recreational use of Tennessee rivers. The organization now has over 1,500 members from Tennessee, other states, and several foreign countries. "As an organization, we share a commitment to preserving the free-flowing streams of our nation; we are heavily involved in protecting our environment both on and off the river; we love paddling and find any excuse to spend a weekend with friends on or off the river; and finally, we share a fellowship amongst ourselves which is unmatched in our experiences anywhere."
