If you paddled the Catt lately, you've noticed that the creek above Farmers Point-Washboard has shifted completely river left into a fairly narrow channel. The high water brought a strainer down right in the middle of the new wave train. Not a problem to miss at 4 feet but for those of you who take family cruises at low water (2-3.5 feet), this area is a pour over into a decent hole with a strainer at the bottom...not a good place to teach your kid how to boof.
