11/08/08. I went down this river after a week of storms when it was at 1600cfs. The river was amazing, but i did get stranded on a rock for 2 hours without a paddle. I had to wait for the rescue team and fire dep. to get me out. Too dangerous to hit rapids without a paddle. Made the newspaper and everything. There are some incredible rapids @ 1600cfs. DO NOT TAKE LIGHTLY> when the river is up, it makes for a good day. Justin Hodges
