I scouted this section (from the Falls down) on Friday February 22, 2008. This was after a decent rain and the Little River Canyon was approximately 725 cfs. Of the five class V rapids below the falls, two contained wood that would make them unrunnable, and one rapid is unrunnable no matter what. It is the third or fourth rapid in the sequence and it is a death sieve. Access to the gorge was easy on the river right side. There is a marked trail along the river right gorge wall. The scout required some lite bouldering and all the boulders had water going under them. As the description said, it is a very unfriendly stream bed that is full of sieves and undercuts. If there is enough rain in the area for this creek to run, you would be better off going somewhere else. Jon Crain
