Ran the section from Edwards Run to Rt 127. The Moorefield gauge was about 2.4. The Rt 50 bridge gauge was below 0 (about -1 foot) and the 127 bridge guage was about or slightly less than 0. The section took us about 6-7 hours to run, stopping to fish and play during the first half of the trip and then scraping our way through rapids on the second half. We ran it in an old town tripper (long and high volume canoe) and a Fun 1. The Fun 1 with a 40 lb paddler got stuck less than the tripper and the major rapids were not runnable in either boat (got stuck). Many smaller rapids were runnable and fun. There were plenty of pools with deep water and the fish preferred worms. The 40 lb paddler in the Fun 1 had a great time. About 6 more inches of water throughout the run would have made it fully runnable in either boat.
