there is a stretch a 1 mile above Bridgeport that passes through state leased properties and houses, which a private angling club manages. There are 7-8 small, 1-1.5 foot creekwide ledge drops built with railroad ties, creating small fish "pools". As you get into Bridgeport, the main road bridge underdeck has a nasty piece of wire rope that hangs down, snagged in debris and pulled to river left--be very conscious of this.
