In previous forum discussion I was told it might be the format. Whats format? I get the video from my smart phone (motorola Q), and use the same setting I use when taking pis 1280x1024. The video is short in length. If format has do do with my PC, I'm doing the same thing I do with the pics. Pictures seem to go through pretty much all the time. On both the phone and the PC I have window xp. I guess the PC is utilizing Quick time. I dont know if I'm giving any clues. This I know, I have no idea what people are saying in regards to format. If I did, mabe then I can do something. Can I change what ever format it's in?

Format can refer to the size; such as 640x400, or to whether it is quicktime, mpeg4, or such.

Most videos being uploaded to AW are in the 320x200 range, or sometimes around 425x350 If your cell phone is truly shooting video at 1280x1024 that will make huge files, that are too big to use on the internet. That is high definition format. Double check to see if you are really shooting that big and whether you can shoot at a smaller size.

What ever your cell phone is putting out is probably fine as far as Quicktime or whatever it uses. You might look up in the phone menus to see if you can tell what kinds of files it is producing.
