Site look funky? Your browser is so old standards-based layouts and styling confuse it. Consider updating. One excellent option is Mozilla Firefox, versions of which are available for Linux, Mac and Windows.
When navigating the current format of the River Database, I find it somewhat counterintuitive that the description under the Flow Info tab doesn't begin with the basic Gauge Information listed under the River Info tab, i.e. the color bar (low, med, high; level or flow; date; time) and min & max suggested level.
I realize this would mean duplicating information on two tabs, but as it stands now, one has to navigate between tabs to understand the meaning of some of the detailed information given under the Flow Info tab. What I'm suggesting is that the basic Gauge Information on the River Info tab also be a "default header" at the beginning of the description under the Flow Info tab.
This idea has not been discussed before, to my knowledge, but it makes sense.
We encourage the individual stream Teamers to include information on the flow tab that helps you to understand and interpret the gauge information. They can at least prominently display the Min Max numbers near the gauge graph so that is clear.
You suggestion would automate having this information on the flow tab.

This reminds me that I would like to have the river and reach information displayed on each tab, or above the tabs so that it is always visible. Some times I open up several rivers, click through several tabs, and forget which river I am looking at.
