I will be leading a trip down the Nantahala River on Saturday June 28, 2008. Anybody and everybody is welcome to come. We will be working on ferries, eddy turns, peel outs, and general boat control. Got a Roll? No problem we can work on that too, but the water may be a bit nippy. Need a ride? Let me know, I have room for the first 1-2 people who calls dibs.

We are going to meet at the NOC Outfitters Store around 10ish on Saturday. If you just want to meet us there. But let me know you are coming so we will look for ya.

This will be a great chance to work on your skills and meet new people to boat with.

Thanks for offering this. I'm unable to make it this Saturday, but really appreciate that you extended this invitation. I was on the Nanty this past weekend and am going back the weekend of the 4th for an NOC class. I hope I have the opportunity to paddle with you in the future.

There was alot of interest at the roll session tonight about this novice trip down the Nantahala River this weekend. If you are interested in going but want to split some gas money post on here. I know there were many people who wanted to go but wanted to car pool. My truck is getting full but post it here and share the ride. We hope to see all of you on the river this weekend.

Remember do not be intimidated to try new stuff and meet new people. Everybody is invited even if I do not know your name. Let me personally invite you now, yes you, who is pointing at ones self and questioning this invite. You do not need to have a bomb proof roll for this trip. If you can wet exit your boat that is all you need. We will work on the rest when we get on the water.
