Found this posted on BoaterTalk. Here's hoping the boater's views are truthfully represented in the final TU product. If you read the responses to this post in the BT thread (link below) there are apparently reasons to think TU may be filming an "attack ad" vs a documentary.

They were producing a show on the conflict between the boaters and the angers over the headwaters. Remember, TU national has a hands off approach to what the Southern Chapter is doing in reguards to the Headwaters. The film crew was working on behalf of national TU. Southern TU was told about the filming Friday, so they were there as tour guides and NOT directing what was filmed and done.
Anyway, if you take a step back from all the issues over the headwaters, it really is an interesting story. TU and AW have worked hand in hand on so many projects to protect our national rivers. This is the only case where we just don't agree. The film will be aired on the Outdoor Channel, TUTV and a few other channels.
Milt Aitken and I were extensively interviewed for the film. We just happened to be in the right place at the right time. We both have attended most of the FS meetings and, of course, written responses to all the proposed management plans. So, the boaters position was well represented. Actually, you could see the interviewer smile when he realized he had found the "right" boaters to interview. The interview lasted about 20 minutes and covered most of our position. In hinesight I wish I had said "equal portection under the law" just to put everything in a nutshell.
They'll film thru Monday then hit the editing room, where I'm sure, in the final production, they'll put red noses on Milt and me and play circus music and a laugh track behind us as we support the boaters prospective.
