Someone able to defeat KY's real "ruthless politician"?

For those of you who might be Republicans and support Mitch McConnell in his quest to remain a Senator from KY - this message is not for you - at least not yet:-)

However, for you Democrats who, like me, have been discouraged about the apparently weak crop of Dem candidates who, no matter which one won the nomination were all probably destined to be slaughtered at the polls this November by McConnell (the poster boy of big money and truly ruthless power politics) I just want to give you a heads up on a candidate running for the Democratic nomination for Senator that you may not have heard about and might consider voting for in the May 20th primary - Greg Fischer.

Maybe I'm just like the boy at Christmas time who found the proverbial bucket of horse manure under the tree, yet still believes this means there's a live pony out in the yard somewhere but.... I just can't help but be optimistic about this candidate. I'm inspired by his message and convinced that with enough grass roots support Greg Fischer could actually give Dems their first real chance in a long time to beat Mitch McConnell in November.

For more info, here's Greg Fischer's home page: [www.gregfischer.com]

Mitch has been resting on his laurels for decades. He claims to have cleaned up the nerve gas that is still sitting there and helped the Paducah’s contaminated workers. Of course he did, he just happened to be standing around when it happen. And he takes credit for the tobacco settlement. What a guy. He is Bush’s boy and he stands in the way of fixing the problems they created. What exactly did Bush do for Mitch and Kentucky while in office? Mitch is for more war. Ditch Mitch…

I chuckle every time I hear him talk about the environment. He claims to really be a catalyst for positive change, but facts are facts. Unfortunately way too many people believe his BS.
