Volcano eruption in Chile covers Futaleufu

Since several BWA members have paddled the Futaleufu and other rivers in Chile so I thought this might be of interest:
"5,000 people have been evacuated as of Monday in southern Chile, following the eruption of the Chaiten volcano."

He and his daughter are stateside, but his wife and her mom are still in futa. taped up the windows and doors to keep the ash out. 3 inches outside. Not sure but Spe said there were like 70 aftershocks.
