here is our new race webpage that I'm still working on but its up an running. Jay, Eric, Willy, and I will be updating it frequently with new things going on for the race this year. We we're flooded out last year but still had a stellar race. Things are definitely coming together for this year and the competition is going to be stiff!(www.russellforkrace.blogspot.com).

Matt that blog is excellent! - great job! It's also good to see the BWA/NPFF logos all over it as well.

Here's a direct link to it for the cut and paste challenged: [www.russellforkrace.blogspot.com]

You mention Eric - is that Eric Nies? If so tell him and Willy and Jay hello for me and I hope they will all re-up their BWA memberships and will reconnect wth all the other positive and high energy folks from the BWA who are looking to help you guys with the RF race and fest this year.

Yo Matt! Looks great. Tell them bros to re-up their membership. Ya'll contact me if you need the BWA to assist with anything. Do you have insurance money worked out yet? How much do you have budgeted for the event and race? Why don't we set up a meeting with you, Jay, me and Steve Ruth soon to discuss how we can make this the stellar event it is? I will be at the Gauley the first 3 weekends and want you and the gang to camp with us at the Gauley fest this year. Let's have a big BWA vibe going, with NPFF stuff by Todd, signups for AW and BWA memberships, and heavily tout the RFRR. I might be able to bring some drums and drummers to the event to give it an ole RFRR flavor, replete with tiki torches, tapestries, and river rat/gypsy ambiance. What do you think?

Sounds great Brent,

Jay has been putting on an emergency medical conference first week in August that has taken most of his time, once thats done we're going to start focusing on the details for the race. We should definitely meet up at Gauley! You wouldn't believe the amount of people telling me there racing this year (actually they we're planning last year as well until the torrential rain fell) should be a record turnout! I'll let you know when start hashing out some details. We should have a BWA Corner at the RFR with a keg!

Matt
