Blue and green Perception Jib

Great super low volume plastic boat for those that can fit.

I think this may be the smallest plastic boat ever made. If you exclude the Shooting Star, I am pretty sure it is.

Despite its small size, it can accommodate smaller adult paddlers. This is a great boat to learn eddline moves and the elusive double-pump and cartwheels.

http://picasaweb.google.com/Edecker28/JibFerSale300#

Price is firm, and you will probably need to acquire a smaller cockpit skirt for it, I have one to use to demo though.

It will be at the pool tonight.

http://www.vio-pov.com/products/ultimate.php
POV.1 Spec's and Info:
http://www.vio-pov.com/products/pov_1.php
What's Included:
http://www.vio-pov.com/images/ultimate/pov1_ult_big.jpg

Purchased this back in the spring, and really like the camera. It's bar far the best quality headcam out for less than $20,000. The system is totally waterproof, shockproof, etc. I'm only selling due to unexpected financial reasons, and plan to relocate here in the Lexington area.

The VIO POV.1 package I have comes with everything you see with the exception of the rechargable AA batteries, which if you want you can pick them up at walmart. I always used regular AA's because they can be picked up anywhere. It has been well cared for and has no scratches and works flawless.

On a fresh set of batteries it can record up to about 7 hrs on the batteries. The 8 GB SDHC card will hold 6 hrs of video at the highest quality setting. It comes with editing software for your pc, also videos can be viewed or edited on the go since you have a screen on the video processor.

New the camera package I have with the accessories retails for $999.00. I'm willing to part with it for $400. Big savings are your to be had, along with a top of the line helmet cam system to capture all your paddling trips, etc.

Thanks for looking, and if you have any questions please feel free to email or call.

Anymore stirring of the pot ( or is that Pot ? ) will show up under the "lounge" section. But I'm really not in the mood to do any more stirring because it just makes enemies out of my dear cadre of boating friends.

So, there, end of story ( for now at least )

I need a deck cover for my OC-1 to keep all the water out. I've seen one on the Ocoee a while back. Does anyone know how or where to find one ?

I think you mean imasculation, it's what happens when you go wholly over to the dark side.

Personally, I walked freely on both sides of the fence for years, paddling open boat, C1 and even C1 Squirt. Admittedly I got trashed pretty thoroughly in that C1 Squirt boat a number of times. Of course, anyone who's seen me try to resurrect my C1 roll lately knows that those days are pretty far behind me now. Still, I like to paddle a well outfitted open boat once in a while.

Chris I think you have it right. Open and C-1 boating is more challenging, and unlike Hanley's pix, does not create freaks of nature. Once you learn the off-bow stroke, your muscles are built evenly on each side. Kayaking is for wooses. In my 30 years of OC-1 AND C-1 boating, I never once pinned a boat or got stuck inside of one.

Not to mention the fear in kayakers eyes when I'm ready to drop sideways in a surfing hole full of kayaks. You never saw 'em step and fetch like that to save their precious little skins.

Half-shaft paddlers rule ! !
Mike

PS: I'm ready for the return hate mail, I'm used to it since the immaculation. . . . . . . .

Jason: If the skirt is stretchy enough, you can use one for a standard whitewater cockpit. I have a snapdragon that I can fit on my superhero and my rocker. I won't part with it, though, since I use it for roll sessions. But I think if you can locate a snapdragon for a standard whitewater boat, it will work for you. But, wouldn't an off-the-shelf cockpit cover be cheaper? (or a used one_

Hanley: I have been doing just that, but maybe I've been turned the wrong way around, and everyone's been seeing my weak side :D

Nylon and some shock cord and you can make a bombproof cockpit cover. Need a little sewing skill though.
