King County to protect NF Snoqualmie

After many years of negotiations with two different landowners, King County and local conservation
groups have brokered a deal with Hancock Timber to protect 90,000 acres along the North Fork
Snoqualmie from future development. While access issues remain, this is good news for the future
health of a river less than an hour from downtown Seattle, WA.
