Mountain Streams and Trails, the oldest outfitter iin the Cheat Canyon, recently purchased the takeout for both the Cheat and Big Sandy Rivers just below the High Bridge at Jenkinsburg. This area is known for terrible erosion and industrial strength litter. The company is committed to maintaining river access for paddlers and needs our help. AW has agreed to take responsibility for upgrading and maintaining the upper parking lot, which needs considerable grading and filling. Your donations will make this happen.
