River Alert

American Whitewater volunteers with the Texas Whitewater Association are continuing to fight to reopen Texas' Guadalupe River. The river was closed by Judge Scheel in July under an emergency order following record flooding. Now that the flood waters have receded, American Whitewater's volunteers are advocating for a restoration of the public's right to float.
