Success on the Upper Ocoee is Official!

On Friday, September 26th, 2003, the Director of the TVA stood on the bridge at the Ocoee Olypmic Whitewater Center and signed an agreement with other stakeholders that promised 54 days of recreational releases each year for the next 15 years. Friday marked a landmark success for American Whitewater, the paddling community and for Southeastern Tennessee. Thanks to everyone that helped us "Free the Ocoee!"
