Oil and Gas Leases Threaten Desolation

American Whitewater has joined the Outdoor Industry Association and Outward Bound in formally protesting oil and gas leases that threaten the recreational experience in Utah's Desolation Canyon on the Green River. The development threatens potential wild and scenic designation, and the recreational experience of thousands of whitewater boaters.
