Old browser warning

Site look funky?  Your browser is either Internet Explorer (hit refresh (F5) several times due to a bug in Microsoft's code that we can't work around) or is 10 years old and standards-based layouts and styling confuse it.   Consider updating.  One excellent option is Mozilla Firefox, versions of which are available for Linux, Mac and Windows. Safari 1.0+ and IE 6.0+ are also supported.

Big Nasty at "Beast Level"

Description: The Cheat is the biggest free flowing (undammed) watershed in the East. With severe thunderstorms multiple days prior, including the night before, this is the Big Nasty Rapid at Cheat's "The Beast of the East" level. Rafting is via a "wild side" small raft. This is what the grand-daddy of all hydrolics on the Cheat (and of most other rivers in the east), "Big Nasty" itself, does to rafts (any almost all the larger rafts that went before us this run) - "Chews you up and spits you out!" Yeah we did hold our own until we hit this 6-8 foot massive wall of water. See "Prelude to 'Big Nasty Hydrolic' at Cheat's 'Beast of the East'level" photo and "Why Called 'The Beast of the East' River and "Big Nasty" rapids" photo & us before we met "Mr. Big Nasty" at "Beast Level".<p>
