Old Mill Falls

Report

Account Harry Marinakis logging air time at the Old Mill Liquor Store at 4.0 feet on the bridge gauge. Old Mill Falls at low water, to show the correct line (arrow). Of course, the falls is too low to run at this level, but you can clearly see the rocks in the landing zone. You will break your ankles if you pencil into the rocks at the bottom. Old Mill Falls in typical spring conditions. This drop has a powerful draw at high water (stage 4.5 ft) that has recirculated a few paddlers for prolonged periods. The correct line is marked (black arrow). The rocks at the bottom are also marked (white arrows). Be sure to boof well to avoid getting caught in the recirculation.
