Account At the end of Snow Hole Canyon the river opens up and although there are some private cabins along this stretch there is also some good beach camping. Although there are private cabins and ranch land in the section between the canyons you will find some great beach camping and beautiful scenery. The Lower Salmon has some very cool columnar basalt.
