Account	With less than 100 cfs it's a tight squeeze down this little tributary but it's only a couple minutes down to Matheny Creek. Portaging a big log jam at the start. This fun rapid marks the start of the run where the North Fork joins Matheny Creek. The first of several fun ledge drops on this run. Some fun class III rapids. This log boof drop has been here for at least a few years, and although we've found it clean you'll likely want to have at least one person scout it. This is one of several fun rapids that lead up to Shark Fin Falls. This is the last of the big ledge drops coming at the end of a great sequence that starts above Shark Fin Falls. It's also one of the most beautiful with a dramatic waterfall that comes in on river right. This is the final class IV drop on the run located just downstream of the FR 2160-080 Bridge. Middle Matheny is a bit more open and does not contain the distinct drops of the upper section, but it still has some fun class III rapids and beautiful scenery.
