River Description

SEASON: Winter rain storms.

ACCESS: At mile 137.5 on Highway 101 take FR 21 east (this is also marked as West Boundary Road). Follow FR 21 4.4 miles to the put-in bridge across the Salmon River. The takeout is the Q-1000 bridge across the Salmon River.

DESCRIPTION:

Most of the run is low gradient class II, but it starts out with a short gorge. Beware of large wood after you've passed through the gorge.
