River Description
This run can't really be recommended, but it can be entertaining for locals who want to explore
something new near to Fresno during a major rain event. The creek is tiny so it takes a
lot of rain to get it high enough to be boatable. If everything else is very high then
this one might be high enough also.
There are some major drops in the run, but much of it is also low gradient. The scenery
is of course very nice.
When you reach the confluence with Watts Creek there will be a big increase in flow and then again
when Sycamore creek enters. You could walk out at the gauging station just below
the confluence with Sycamore, but if you have come that far you might as well salvage something of
the day and paddle out
Sycamore Creek— Maxson
Road to Trimmer Springs Road, which really is quite fun at high flows.
