been warned to get out of the rain swollen raging river due to the lowhead dam that was just feet
in front of them. They stated they knew what they were doing and went over the lowhead anyways, got
caught in the boil and perished before rescue crews could get to them. A warning about this dam
need to be posted as they aren't the first to have lost their lives to this particular dam ( its at
the brandywine picnic park in West Chester, pa ) but the main concern is NOT GOING OVER THE DAM and
heeding warnings from the park rangers. Even the most experienced kyakers in this area will NOT go
over this dam due to the dangers. They say that even if the water level is low, and the river is
calm, that you'd break your back going over the dam and thats at the least. Edit
