River Description
Well, its there, but I don't know anyone who has run it. There is a dirt road on river left that
runs beside the river. From the vantage point of the road you can see a number of undercut boulder
sieves. After that you can look forward to a long lake paddle.

portadge even after heavy rains. Some fun play spots but very long flat paddle to take out
Here's how Town Creek correlates to the South Sauty gage:
Town = Sauty
361-540 = 0.25
480 - 640 = 0.50
540 - 600 = 0.60
612 - 830 = 0.70
552 - 842 = 0.80
777 - 980 = 0.90
601 - 873 = 1.00
799 - 922 = 1.10
1017 - 1024 = 1.25
729 - 1113 = 1.30
1561 = 1.50
1623 = 1.65
I have an Excel 2000 spreadsheet that predicts the levels for South Sauty and several other rivers
in the southeast. If you'd like a copy of this spreadsheet e-mail me at
H2Olevelcheck@boatingbeta.com and I will send it to you. I only check this address weekly, so
pardon me if I don't get back to you right away.
