River Description
The upper gorge of Tumbling Creek is boulder choked and contains many strainers. The gorge is very
isolated and not much can be seen except a short stretch near the road on the drive up to the
putin. The gorge begins and ends with many 3'-5' ledges and a few in the 10' range near the
beginning of the run, these bigger drops also have pretty shallow landings as well. Use caution and
scout the run before committing your group to running this creek.
