Jones Gap Road to Soddy Creek

Soddy tributary, look for Soddy to be high
(2) different put-ins Hwy 111 & dirt road off Jones Gap rd.
(2nd put-in is kinda of hard to find, but it cuts out all of the flatwater at the top)

Mostly low-angle bedrock slides, one good boulder garden section. One mandatory walk, & one that's sketchy (but runnable).

After the first good slide, you'll see several old vehicles hanging off of the side of a cliff. Scout this section carefully.

As of August 2003 all of the wood was cut out.
