Gauge Description:

The river gauge is on the bridge in Taberg. Call Northern Outfitters, 315-449-1208, for river levels, or check local massage boards like the Northeast Paddlers Massage Board or the FLOW Massage Board.

Minimum: 1.5 feet (class 3)
Medium: 3 feet (class 3+)
High: 4.5 feet (class 4)

There's a new USGS gauge, as of Autumn 2008! We don't have a perfect correlation yet, but it appears that a rough one might be:

Bridge = USGS - 2.0.

So a min on the USGS gauge might be about 4.0 feet.

We'll keep you posted as we get better info.

Update: 3/13/09, as the USGS gauge read 4.8', the bridge gauge was reading "just under 3 feet." That's support for the "Bridge = USGS - 2" equation. But we need more data points.
