Gauge Information

Gauge Description:

Gauge referenced is for the Big Sandy at Rockville. The Sandy should be rising fast. This is a very small creek and can be checked visually at the bridge just past the road to Rockville. You'll want a good, fast wave train here if you are looking for good water. Any less and it will be more abusive than it has to be. This creek can be run from just below bankful to flood stage. Creek drops at a gradient of over 400 fpm early into the run, then flattens out, then back to over 500 fpm in last quarter mile.
