River DescriptionTwo low-head dams are located 2 miles downstream from put-in just downstream of Bagley Rd bridge.First Dam can be run far on the left or far right up to 2.75'. Above that level portage on river right immediatly above dam. Above 3.5' takeout just below Bagley Rd to portage dam. Second low head dam is upstream of Water St. bridge. DO NOT run dam. OK to run natural slide on river left up to 3'. Keelhaulers River Rating - 17 ODNR -Boating on Ohio's Streams in Northeast OH PADDLERS MUST CALL OLMSTED FALLS FIRE DEPARTMENT AT 440-235-3238 BEFORE PADDLING, tell them number of paddlers and launch time.
