River Description

A flatwater paddle to Pringle Falls. You can take out at Wyeth Campground upstream of the falls. The rapid starts with 200 yards of class III and then picks up with class IV that should be scouted. There is a portage around the falls. For additional information on recreational opportunities see the Deschutes National Forest web site.

GAUGE: The Bureau of Reclamation's Deschutes River below Wickiup Reservoir (WICO) gauge applies to this section. Look for flows of at least 500 cfs which are dependable through the summer. Outside the irrigation season there may be limited release from the dam.
