the rock is out now. cartwheels, loops, mcnastys, phonix monkeys, space godzillas, and pretty much any hole move that you can throw can be thrown now. def the best playspot in the southeast now. Edit

I agree - we've heard lots of people talking about how
the hole was crap now, because of the rock, but I
disagree. Around 650 - 750 you can spin all day, and
throw as clean of an end as you can, in my case,
pretty sorry. I've seen a couple of people tearing up
the air at around 625 - 675. So, do not be afraid. This
spot is still worth it, especially for the closeness and
ease of access from the campground. Which brings
up another note -

It costs $3.29 to park at the campground. Pay it. See it
as insurance. Several boaters have had their
vehicles vandalized by idiotic locals on the opposite
side of the river. If you see one of these people
messing with a car, please run over them.
the hole at big rocks has a big stinky rock underneath it that will getcha below 400cfs. I recommend getting in there around 700 or 800. My 7' 7" will go end to end in there at that level. Edit
